A nod to British Airways?

There is a store here in Toronto called Space Vintage. It is one of my favourite shops in the city!  The prices are affordable and the stock is always plentiful and, most important, they always carry my size 🙂

This is their blog, if anyone lives in Toronto, you need to visit this shop, you will not be disappointed! http://spacevintageclothing.blogspot.ca/

Today’s dress is one of the first pieces I ever bought from Space.

So, the tag is missing from the dress, as is the belt.  I do not know the brand, but super comfortable, a great piece for work.  The built in scarf is such a great touch, you don’t need to dress it up with jewelry, so I tend to keep the earrings basic.

Shoes:  Probably about 6 or 7 years old, a sale item I picked up at The Bay (now Hudson’s Bay) and I can’t recall the price.

When I wore it work the first time, one of my colleagues had said the pattern reminded her of the British Airways Flight Attendant uniforms circa 1990’s.  Well, off I went to search the internet. Sure enough, I can definitely see the resemblance!
