Sets are super cool.
This set was a super find at Salvation Army. Sets are great because they are super versatile, I can wear it together (which is the way I usually do), but you can also wear the shirt alone, and then have the jacket matched with a black solid dress or tank/pant/skirt combo. These pieces are great as I can wear them to work and it’s an easy outfit to carry over for a after work cocktail or function.
The shirt shoulders are fabulous; it’s got just a bit of poof to it that makes it a bit more unique and structured. The brand, and hello, designer (!) is Oleg Cassini. No alterations.
Pants: Material Girl (a current piece that I wear and goes a long way with matching second hand finds with).
Jewelry: Mothers hand me down beaded necklace.
Purse: A great find from Goodwill, a velvet clutch with optional shoulder strap.
Shoes: Aldo. These guys are about 8 or 9 years old. Great standard pair that I’ve kept throughout the years. The boots on the right are a recent purchase from Nine West (end of season sale, of course).
