I never thought of fashion or styling as anything more than clothing I need to wear on a daily basis. You know that old saying, “When you do something you love, it doesn’t feel like work.”? That’s how I feel when I’m styling. I love it, and I don’t even think twice about it- it just brings me such happiness.
I have a passion for putting outfits together and I do it the thrifty way for three very simple reasons: 1) I’m economical. I shop at second hand shops because it fits my lifestyle and budget (not because it is currently trendy to do so). 2) I hate having what everyone else has! My clothing is a reflection of me, my personality, and I like being able to showcase my creativity through what I wear. 3) Not only is shopping secondhand sustainable, you are also giving back to some really great charities as well as really great locally run businesses!
I will be honest, I don’t always shop vintage and second hand, I have outfits that I bought in the mall throughout the seasons- absolutely, but overall, the clothes I wear, what you see on this site- truly reflect my style, my attitude and my life.
